New ACC Website

New club website has been officially launched.

Arun Canoe Club (“ACC” for short) The long-term goals are to improve the layout and the simplicity of the pages. The team at ACC will continue to even more improve the interaction, between the members and the coaches via the website, without the need for 3rd party applications, or an email. There is still a long way to go, and it requires a lot of testing, yet we are very excited about, the capabilities, of posting articles, trip reports, and news, via the integrated blogging engine. All our club volunteers will be able to log in and contribute to the content of this website, without any web building knowledge whatsoever.

For those who are not yet members of the club, but would like to be up to date with the club activities and posts, we will allow subscribing to our blog. ACC team thinks, that some of you will appreciate our effort and, would like to stay up to date, with the latest news from our club.

Some of the new features of the website are:

  • Fully responsive layout, which will allow the website to adapt to the device it is viewed on. You can view ACC website on PC, Tablet, or a phone and always see everything, as it will automatically re-arrange to the best possible layout.
  • Interactive menu. There is nothing new about it, but if you view the ACC page, on a phone, the menu will adjust to reduce the amount of taken space.

  • New Posts Sections, will contain our latest trips reports, news, and some guides which will be written by the club contributors. For those have fantastic “editors” skills, we would like you to help us, to build, the content of our website. All Members are welcome to contribute. If you are interested please contact:

We do have much more features to release in the near future, but they first have to be tested. The club website is done by volunteers, therefore please be patient and we are looking forward to some feedback. Please contact us to get more information.
